We all know how to play Simon Says, well this is a variation on that classic.

Age Range:

Any age.

Number of players:

1 to as many as you like!

Aim of the Game

  • To understand a range of emotions.
  • To read body language to help understand others.
  • To learn to take turns.
  • To improve listening, comprehension and inference skills.

Rules

  1.  One person is Fiona. The other is the caller.
  2.  The caller must shout out an emotion.
  3.  Fiona must display this emotion (e.g. pretend to cry and rub eyes for ‘sad’)
  4.  Repeat with a range of emotions.
  5.  Swap roles.

Variation on the game

You take turns to act out an emotion and the other person must guess the chosen emotion.
