As a former teacher, I only ever sent home homework with words and terms that I had already taught the children. Many times parents would see an unfamiliar word and (in their own words) panic because they did not understand the word themselves. So many parents have openly shared how much they disliked maths and grammar at school, how they never understood it. It’s so important not to let your children adopt that same fear.
Often children mix up words and terms they learn in school and when at home, outside of the usual learning environment without wall displays as prompts, they would often forget these words too… after all, they aren’t words many people use everyday.
Education is developing all the time. No one is to blame for this confusion and fear, but that doesn’t mean it needs to continue.
WE ARE HERE TO HELP!
Perplexed with percentages?
Fainting with fractions?
Raged at ratios?

Grunting at graphemes?
Vexed at verbs?
Then you’re in the right place.
